Sunnyside’s Music

Music has always been a priority of ours. A nice atmosphere won’t be complete without a good soundtrack to complement it! That’s why for Sunnyside we’re working with Matthew Payne Thompson. Matthew has a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production and extensive experience in writing and arranging music to back it.

People behind Sunnyside

Siavash Shahlaei – Lead Developer and 3D Artist
Siavash was a game design student at the University of Essex, he left university after the pandemic to solely focus on the development of Sunnyside. In the past, he has done Web design, Marketing design and Video Editing but his passion has always been making games. He has extensive knowledge and experience with Unreal Engine 4 and 3D modelling in general.

Lauryn Hammett – Writer and Concept Artist
Lauryn is a digital artist by trade and has an art degree to back it up. She’s currently a Game Design, 3D Modelling and Animation student. Her love for world building, character design and writing led her on becoming the writer and concept artist of Sunnyside.

Austin Lelonek – Programmer and assistant 3D Artist
Austin originally joined the project as a volunteer, based only on his love for the game. As the community of Sunnyside grew and the scale of the project expanded, he joined the project officially.

Matthew Payne Thompson – Composer
Raised in a small town in Southern Indiana, Matt started his musical studies at age 13 learning on guitar. He cultivated his passion at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production.
